There is a quiet beauty in cotton knitted from the finest yarns — something you recognize the moment it touches your skin. This collection is crafted from 100/2 Filoscozia® cotton, knitted into a refined rib structure.
100/2 yarn — meaning two strands of extremely fine cotton yarn twisted together — is often used for the finest dress shirts. Its uniformity creates a subtle sheen, a smooth and gentle touch, and a durability that belies its delicate appearance.
Rather than rushing the process, we chose to knit it slowly. Using low-speed circular knitting machines, the fabric is formed with care, allowing air to be held within the structure. Increasing the speed would improve efficiency, but it would also place more tension on the yarn, altering the character of the fabric. By taking time, the natural beauty of the yarn is preserved, resulting in a texture that feels soft, supple, and quietly refined.
The finished rib knit carries a light, almost sheer quality, paired with a gentle luster. It is a fabric that speaks softly — both to the skin and to the eye.
Rib knit is known for its natural elasticity, allowing it to move with the body without restriction. It does not cling or constrict, but instead follows the body’s movements with ease. The feeling is close to that of a second skin — light, comfortable, and reassuring.
