Following our previous Journal, we continue exploring the beauty of 100/2 rib knit fabric. Soft, supple, and finished with a subtle luster, this fine cotton material offers more than just comfort against the skin — it brings a quiet refinement to everyday styling.
Crafted from 100/2 Filoscozia® cotton, this rib knit fabric is made using exceptionally fine yarns, often reserved for the finest dress shirts. The uniformity of the yarn creates a smooth touch and an elegant sheen, while maintaining a durability that belies its delicate appearance. By knitting the fabric slowly on low-speed circular knitting machines, air is gently incorporated into the structure, resulting in a soft texture with a delicate, sheer quality.
In this edition, we introduce styling ideas for pieces made from this refined fabric.
The simple knit top is where the beauty of the material is most purely expressed. Its subtle sheerness creates lightness, making it ideal for layering with bra camisoles.
